Overview
PDF Pages is a mobile application that lets you select and extract pages from PDF documents. This privacy policy explains how our app handles data and respects your privacy.
Data Collection
Your PDF files never leave your device. All PDF processing happens locally on your device. No files are uploaded to any server.
Microphone & Speech Recognition
- The app offers optional voice commands for hands-free page selection
- Speech recognition is processed on-device using Apple’s Speech framework
- No audio is recorded or stored
- You can use the app fully without enabling microphone access
Third-Party Services
Analytics (PostHog)
- We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app
- This includes: app opens, feature usage, device type, and iOS version
- This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally
- You can opt out of personalized tracking in your device settings
In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)
- We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchase transactions
- Only transaction data necessary for purchase processing is collected
- No personal financial information is stored within the app
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple
- Your PDF files — all processing is local, never uploaded
- Personal information — no names, email addresses, or personal identifiers
- Location data — we do not access your location
- Contacts or photos — we do not access your contacts or other personal data
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Anonymous analytics data is shared only with PostHog for analytics processing and RevenueCat for subscription management.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Children’s Privacy
PDF Pages is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
User Controls
- You can deny microphone access and still use all core features
- You can upgrade to premium for unlimited extractions
- The app does not require or store any personal identification information
